AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) -

We begin this week's Water Wasters investigation with the Cascades Car Wash.

We received a photo of a broken sprinkler, where you can see water shooting up into the air.

We reached out to the business on Facebook.

They responded, saying they are aware of the issue, and that the sprinkler has recently been repaired.

Up next is the Amarillo Heart Group.

We received two photos from a viewer who said the sprinklers are always on.

In the photos, you can see water runoff in nearby streets.

I spoke with staff members, who said they monitor the sprinklers regularly, and that they will take a look at the area shown in the photos.

Finally, a viewer sent in two photos of the McDonald's near Ross and Osage.

A spokesperson for the restaurant issued a statement, saying the water is coming from a busted sprinkler line and that the repairs have already been made.

They added that they "try to remain cognizant about any type of waste and take matters like this very seriously."

If you are concerned about the water usage at a local business or agency, take a picture and send it to us at waterwasters@newschannel10.com
