AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - An Amarillo 7-year-old started off his summer break turning lemons into lemonade - and then into pizza.
Adrian Cardenas and his mother showed up at Faith City Mission on Tuesday to share his proceeds with children in need. He earned $56 selling lemonade and wanted to donate his money to other children so they could have a pizza party.
He donated the $56 from his lemonade stand, as well as two additional dollars he found in his pocket.
The children at Faith City Mission will now be able to enjoy a pizza party because of Adrian's generosity.
