RANDALL COUNTY, TX (KFDA) - A home was destroyed and a person was sent to the hospital after a structure fire on Sunday in Randall County.

Around 3:25 p.m., Randall County Fire Department responded to the 14000 block of Ortega Road on a report of a structure fire.

When officials arrived at the scene, they found a double-wide trailer home with fire heavily involved throughout.

Canyon Fire Department, Lake Tanglewood Fire Department, Timbercreek Fire Department and Palisades Fire Department all assisted on the call.

One occupant of the home required medical attention and was taken to BSA Hospital.

Their condition is unknown.

The fire was brought under control around 4:21 p.m.

The cause is still under investigation.

All seven occupants of the home were put into contact with the American Red Cross.
