AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - A woman has been indicted on manslaughter charges after a two-vehicle crash in March left one person dead.
Gregoria Garcia-Ruiz, 38, has been indicted after officials say she failed to control her speed while driving and collided into the rear end of a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, 65-year-old Terry Callis, was thrown off the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Garcia-Ruiz and the five passengers in the car were not injured.
She was booked into the Randall County Jail on one count of manslaughter. She is also being held on an ICE detainer.
