AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - The Texas Panhandle Center's Peer Support will be offering a new group to help support whole self-management skills.
The Whole Health Action Management group, or WHAM, will offer training that covers factors such as stress management, healthy eating, physical activity, restful sleep and more.
Attendees can learn self-management skills like creating a weekly action plan, engaging in cognitive skills to avoid negative thinking, writing a whole health and resiliency goal and more.
Meetings will be held once a week for 10 weeks starting Friday, May 11. The meetings will take place at The Texas Panhandle Center's building located at 2002 Hardy Street.
