Battle of the Badges cook off to be held Thursday

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle is holding a cooking competition to help further their mission of supporting emergency workers.

Teams of firefighters and police will compete to prepare the best barbecue in the "Battle of the Badges."

The battle starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Tri-State Fairgrounds Glenn McMennamy Building on Thursday, May 10.

The event will be free, but voting for the best dish will be $1 per vote.
