Potter County Sheriff's Office hosting free Drug Take-Back Day

The Potter County Sheriff's Office is helping Amarillo citizens clean out their medicine cabinets.

The office will hold a free Drug Take-Back Day to help residents get rid of unwanted drugs.

From 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, unused or expired medications can be brought to the old Potter County Sheriff's Office Building at 608 S Pierce Street.

After Saturday, the collection box will be taken to the Potter County Detention Center at 13100 NE 29th Street.

Participants are reminded to bring ONLY prescription or over-the-counter drugs to be dropped off.
