FBI searching for suspect in two Amarillo bank robberies

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) -

The FBI is asking for the public's help locating a suspect who they accuse of robbing two Amarillo banks.

He is wanted for allegedly robbing a Wells Fargo bank in November 2017 and a First United Bank in January of this year.

Both banks were robbed at gunpoint.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male around six feet tall, weighting between 200-220 pounds, wearing dark sunglasses, a white hard hat, a green safety vest and dark jeans.

He has a small tattoo on his right wrist and carried a small handgun.

North Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
