AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - McClellan Fire in Gray County:
As of 1:12 p.m., Texas A&M Forest Service says the McClellan Fire in Gray County is 80 percent contained. It is estimated to have burned 32,100 acres.
A voluntary evacuation was issued shortly after Midnight on April 18 for residents of Alanreed, but has since been lifted. One home, one garage and one other structure have been confirmed lost.
FM 2477 from Highway 70 to the lake is now open.
The Vanderburg fire in Gray County is 498 acres and 90 percent contained. There is currently no active fire, and crews are patrolling the fire lines and mopping up.
The McCracken Fire south of Pampa is 86 acres and 95 percent contained.
The Hugh Ranch Fire north of Alanreed is 183 acres and 100 percent contained.
Fire in Moore County:
Dumas and Sunray Fire Departments worked a hay fire on McClary Road, north of Dumas.
A couple hundred hay bales burned along with some grass, but crews were able to contain the fire.
Fire in Swisher County:
Crews have fully extinguished the fire burning south of Highway 1881.
Tulia and Happy firefighters were on the scene and worked to get the fire under control.
Fire near SW 9th and Loop 335:
The fire in Potter County at the brush site is now contained.
According to the Amarillo Fire Department, crews have completed back burning to reduce the chance of the fire spreading.
Traffic has detoured to Amarillo Boulevard after Loop 335 was closed northbound at 9th Avenue and southbound at FM 1061. The road has since been opened.
Fire in Texas County:
A fire that broke out in Texas County Tuesday afternoon is now contained.
The Texas County Sheriff's Department says the fire was on Road S between mile 47 and 49.
The sheriff's department says the fire damaged some utility lines.
