AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - An Amarillo fugitive wanted for a probation violation and possession of a controlled substance is now in custody.
APD officers were dispatched to a home in the 3700 block of Torre Dr. on Friday, Nov. 10, around 11:00 a.m. Members of the APD PACE unit developed information on William Mchugh and a wanted female contributing to his whereabouts being at the same home.
Officers made contact at the home with Kammie Westbrook, 22, who was known to be wanted for a bond forfeiture warrant for Possession of Marijuana as well as a Probation Violation warrant for Child Neglect.
She refused to cooperate with officers ran to an upstairs room, blocking a door inside the home. She jumped from a 2nd story window of the home and was then located in a dumpster of the alleyway.
She was arrested for her warrants and also charged with Evading Arrest.
William Mchuh was located in the next dumpster and arrested for his outstanding warrant as well as an on-view charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both Mchugh and Westbrook were booked into the Randall County Detention Center.
