One person has died after a one-vehicle crash this morning.
Around 9:30 a.m., DPS officials say 28-year-old Carlos Gonzalez-Mendez of Dalhart was driving a 2012 Cadillac heading south on US-385 near Channing.
The car left the roadway, and officials say Gonzalez-Mendez over-corrected and lost control of the car. The car then crashed into a utility pole and rolled over.
DPS officials say he was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
