RANDALL COUNTY, TX (KFDA) - Four people have been arrested on seven charges of sexual assault and one charge of human trafficking each.
The Randall County Sheriff's Office identified Paul Teague, Jessica Valverde, Casey Malin, and Timothy Rivas as the people arrested last Thursday. All four remain jailed on seven charges of sexual assault and one charge of human trafficking each, according to Public Information Officer, Danny Alexander.
Officials cited an apparent break-in at a mobile home residence on Greg Street where deputies reported seeing a woman breaking out the home's windows in. They later received information about another woman who was at a local hospital after being sexually assaulted and held against her will.
Officials believe the two four suspects dropped the victim off at the hospital before returning to the Greg Street residence.
"Like me and her are here all the time by ourselves, so like, it is really freaky, and I have a son, and our nieces and nephews are always here too," says Randall County resident who lives near the mobile home.
Evidence collected at the scene led deputies to believe the sexual assault did occur.
"Well it's a dangerous offense. We're dealing with some serious issues. We don't want them to be able to abscond. We want to make sure the rest of the public is safe," says Lt. Pat Williams of the Randall County Sheriff's Office.
Bonds for the four detainees have been set for at least $2 million each.
Teague, 42, and Rivas, 22, are being held on an additional kidnapping charge. Authorities reported Malin, 27, has a Colorado warrant for vehicle theft.
