Claude ISD is alerting residents of a scam circulating the area.
Officials say a person is calling businesses in Claude claiming to be working with Claude ISD cheerleaders.
The person then tried to get businesses to pay $300 for a spot on the back of a t-shirt.
Claude ISD says they are not running a sales campaign for ads on the back of t-shirts over the phone.
This person is not affiliated with the school district.
