Amarillo police release video of suspect involved in 2 robberies

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Amarillo police have released surveillance video of the suspect involved in two robberies over the weekend.

On Saturday around midnight, officers were called to an armed robbery at a business located at the 2600 block of Wolflin Avenue.

Police say a man entered the business and pulled a gun on the employees, demanding money from the register. He then left in an unknown direction.

A short time later, police received a call from a business in the 2200 block of Southeast 27th on another armed robbery.

Police say a man with the same description pointed a gun at the employees, demanded money and left.

Police say the suspect left both locations with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic or mixed race male wearing camouflaged overalls. He is described as 6-feet-tall with a beard that may have been painted on.
