AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - A great way to start fall is by going out and enjoying one of the more than a dozen events happening this weekend.

Here is a list of a few events being held throughout the Panhandle.

Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm's is opening its gates on Saturday September 23 to kick off their 10th anniversary season.

Maxwell's has more than 30 games and other activities designed for the whole family.

Opening day, September 23, is NewsChannel 10 Day, so tickets are only $10.

Maxwell's is open from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m..

Friday September 22 is opening night for the Amarillo Symphony and concerts for the 93rd season will kick off at Globe-News Center for Performing Arts.

Single person tickets for the concert start at $20.

The Clovis Rock Gym is hosting a food drive to support the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico.

For every single canned food item you bring in you can receive a a dollar off.

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will make its way to Amarillo on Saturday September 22nd.

Komen is hosting a 5K and 1-mile race in Amarillo. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m., and the 1-mile will start at 9:15 a.m..

Wing Wars is an event full of food and fun. It is being held Saturday September 23rd at Ferguson Plumbing at 5823 Canyon Drive.

More than 20 teams will be competing for tittle of best wings in Amarillo.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
