Fugitive File: Jesus Luis Perez in custody

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) -

UPDATE: The Childress Police Department followed tips received by Amarillo Crime Stoppers and were able to locate fugitive Jesus Perez. Perez was arrested in the 400 block of Ave D SE in Childress TX. He was booked into the Childress County jail for outstanding warrants.

Amarillo police are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of an area man.

Jesus Luiz Perez is wanted out of Potter County for 2 bond surrenders with original charges of assault causing bodily injury to a family member. He also has a parole violation warrant out of Childress County for original charges of family assault and evading arrest, according to the Amarillo Police Department.

Anyone with information on Perez's whereabouts is urged to contact Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.

Tips can also be submitted online at www.amapolice.org.

Information leading to his arrest could earn a reward of up to $300.
