CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) - Police are asking the public for more information about a recent shooting in a Clovis neighborhood.
The Clovis Police Department said officers were first dispatched to the 300 block of Thornton Street Wednesday morning for a shots fired call, but did not find any victims or visible damage in the area.
Officers were directed to Plains Regional Medical Center after an unidentified 20-year-old male checked in with a gunshot wound to his thigh. The victim would not answer any questions about the incident.
The individual has since been transferred to Lubbock, Texas, for treatment.
