AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Authorities are investigating a shots fired call made from an Amarillo nightclub early Thursday that sent one person to the hospital in non life-threatening condition, according to the Amarillo Police Department.

APD said officers were dispatched on the call just after 2 a.m. at Guitars and Cadillacs, a bar and dance club located in the 3600 block of Olsen Boulevard. Several fights were ongoing upon their arrival.

The bar's staff reportedly had detained Timothy Moore, 24, for arguing with another patron and displaying a gun at him. A shot was fired into the floor, according to witnesses. A second shot was fired when Moore was tackled by security.

No injuries were reported from either gunshot.

Moore taken to an area hospital with an injury later determined to be a stab wound. He was later arrested for deadly conduct.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said. Anyone with information is urged to call the Amarillo Police Department at (806) 378-9452.

Officer Jeb Hilton said this is the 35th call APD has responded to at the bar since the start of the year.
