The blaze started around 3:15 p.m. in the 4100 block of S. Jackson. According to the Amarillo Fire Department, when crews arrived they found a travel trailer in the driveway of 4113 on fire and was spreading to homes at 4113 and 4111 Jackson.

Officials say the fire was also inside both homes with two bedrooms on the south side of the home at 4111 S. Jackson. The AFD says the house at 4113 S. Jackson had damage throughout the northern half of the house. The detached garage at 4113 S. Jackson was completely destroyed.

Officials say 4111 S. Jackson was the only home occupied at the time of the fire and the occupants escaped unharmed. Several dogs from both homes were rescued by firefighters.
