ARMSTRONG COUNTY, TX (KFDA) - After a 22 hour search, The Armstrong County Sheriff's Office confirms the 14-year-old boy who went missing Saturday afternoon has been found.
Officials say he went out on an ATV just North of Claude around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and did not come back within a reasonable amount of time. Along with The Armstrong and the Randall County Sheriff's Offices, hundreds of volunteers came to help find the young man despite cold and icy conditions.
"We had a great turn out on the search and rescue," said Blaine Burnett with the Randall County Sheriff's Search and Rescue. "People from all over the county came to help. We had about 200 people out here looking for him."
Burnett says the department is examining him for injuries.
