Monday, Dec. 5, members of the community are coming together in memory and support of victims of violent crimes in the Amarillo community.
The Panhandle Victim's Assistance Coalition is hosting the Tree of Angels ceremony.
The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the 11th floor in the Santa Fe building.
A tree will be filled with angel ornaments, some with names and some with pictures. The purpose is to remember the loved ones lost to violent crimes.
The tree not only serves as a reminder of those who have been lost but also raises awareness for victims of violent crimes.
There will be a guest speaker, music, and reception following the Tree of Angels ceremony.
