AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Amarillo police have reopened SH-287 while southbound access roads remain closed.
Around 1 p.m., officers responded to a major vehicle accident at NE 24th Avenue and the Dumas Highway.
A semi truck pulling a flat bed trailer loaded with farm equipment was southbound on the access road of the Dumas Highway approaching NE 24th Avenue.
