AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Residents across the Panhandle will have an opportunity to help the Salvation Army 'Do the Most Good' once again this holiday season.
The charity kicked off its Red Kettle drive Wednesday in partnership with Toot 'n' Totum at the chain's 10th and Buchanan Street location. The annual holiday drive funds the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program, which helps families and individuals in need during November and December.
As part of its contribution, Toot'n Totum is placing countertop Red Kettles at all Toot'n Totum, Mr. Payroll and Car Care Center locations across Amarillo, Pampa, Borger and Dumas, with over 100 kettles in total. Toot'n Totum is also matching the first $100 at each kettle as well as purchasing gifts for about 150 Angels.
The Salvation Army says this is a great opportunity for the public to help create change in their community.
