AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Police say a man wanted on two counts of aggravated assault related to a recent shooting was found at a home in north Amarillo Thursday and arrested.
The Amarillo Police Department said officers observed Joseph Lynn Harris, 28, around a residence in the 300 block of North Hughes and approached him. Harris reportedly ran inside the home and refused to come out, but later surrendered himself to police.
The Potter County warrants stem from an apparent shooting on Oct. 7 in which another male was shot in the knee. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Harris was booked into the Potter County jail.
