BORGER, TX (KFDA) -

A judge has sentenced a Borger man to 58 years in prison for multiple counts of sexual assault of a child, according to the 84th Judicial District of Texas Tuesday.

Court records show Brandon Wayne Taylor, 35, began sexually assaulting a 13-year-old female in the fall of 2014 in Borger. The assault continued until the victim was 14.

The victim, now 16, testified against Taylor during the trial.

A Hutchinson County jury found him guilty on sexual assault of a child, aggravated sexual assault of a child, and indecency. He was also ordered to pay a $10,000 fine for each count.

Taylor must serve 29 years of his sentence before he becomes eligible for parole.
