AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Last year the community teamed up with The Salvation Army to provide 2,343 gifts for our Angel Tree Program. Angel Tree is an emergency holiday assistance program where The Salvation Army provides annually to those in need ranging from infants to children age 18-years-old.
It is now that time of year again and Christmas is right around the corner. The Salvation Army Christmas Assistance Program ("Angel Tree") is underway and will begin taking applications October 24th-28th and November 7th-11th, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., and Monday & Thursday evenings 6:00pm-8:00pm at The Salvation Army Church located at 2101 S. Van Buren.
