AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Drivers along the westbound frontage road of I-40 at Ross Street should expect travel delays starting Monday, Sept. 19 for a water main relocation project. This City of Amarillo Capital Project & Development Engineering division project consists of replacing a 6-inch water line that crosses Ross Street.
Traffic control and barricades will be placed along the intersection of the westbound frontage road of I-40 and Ross Street. The right lane will be closed on the westbound frontage road on either side of Ross Street. Various lane closures will occur throughout the project along Ross Street on either side of I-40.
The project is scheduled for completion in November of this year.
