The driver of a semi-truck that crashed into a train Monday morning was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The collision happened near the junction of SH-807 and SH-54, a remote area a few dozen miles northeast of Dalhart.
Witnesses of the crash said the truck appeared to pull out in front of the oncoming train.
Authorities have yet to release identifying information. An investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, around 10:20 p.m., Amarillo police were dispatched to the 4400 block of Mesa on a possible aggravated assault. Officers discovered a deceased male with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
