Amarillo police search for a suspect involved in home invasion robbery

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) -

Amarillo police are searching for a suspect they believe was involved in a home invasion robbery. 

On Sept. 8, APD officers were dispatched to 6200 block of Adirondack Trail on a home invasion robbery.

They believe the incident occurred some time between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. 

The victim, an 83-year-old female, received injuries to her upper body and was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect is described only as a white male.

According to police, the suspect came into the residence through a window, tied the victim up, assaulted her, and then left the residence with several firearms.
