4 people hospitalized after Clovis ambulance accident

CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) - The Clovis Police Department Major Crash Team is investigating a crash that happened earlier this morning.

On Sept. 6, around 9:20 a.m. the Clovis Dispatch Center was advised that a motor vehicle crash had occurred on 7th and Main involving the Clovis Fire Department ambulance.

Members of the Clovis Fire Department and Police Department arrived and discovered the two vehicle crash happened just south of the Clovis Carver Library.

An ambulance was travelling west on 7th when it was struck by a pickup truck.

Three people were transported from the scene to PRMC-Clovis, and an another was airlifted from the scene by AeroCare to a Lubbock hospital.

All patient conditions are unavailable at this time, but we will provide more information as it becomes available.
