AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - If you ever find yourself in an active shooter situation, do you have plan? NCW Insurance is making sure you do, with an active shooter safety seminar.

The free Active Shooter Safety Seminar on Thursday, September 1 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Amarillo College Downtown Campus, located at 1314 S. Polk St. Amarillo, Texas 79101.

There are a number of new safety issues that businesses and community leaders should consider. While Amarillo and the surrounding communities seem safe, preparedness is essential. To help our clients and our community continually improve safety standards and outcomes, NCW provides ongoing safety seminars, risk mitigation and a connection to resources. This Active Shooter Seminar will feature best practices, acknowledged research and expert experience. We are excited to feature speaker Corporal Danny Perez with the Amarillo Police Department. Topics covered will include:
