$35,000 worth of stolen goods recovered, no arrests made

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Various items stolen over a two-week period in Pampa, Bushland, Canyon and Randall County have been returned to their original owners, according to the Amarillo Police Department Tuesday.

Officials say no arrests have been made and no warrants have been issued for the person or persons responsible for the theft.

The stolen property included a pickup truck tailgate, a 'Jacuzzi-style' bathtub, welding tools, a Kawasaki motorcycle, an 18-inch trailer and multiple car carriers. All together, police estimated the value of the items just under $35,000. Most of items were stolen from businesses, officials said.

The Panhandle Auto Burglary and Theft Unit recovered the items over April 8-10.

An investigation into the thefts is ongoing.
