UPDATE (4:36 p.m.): Pampa police say the suspect in today's incident is now in custody. His identity is being withheld at this time.

As of 2:20 Monday afternoon, police are still on the scene but have not yet made contact with the subject inside the home.

Randall County is now assisting with the situation - they have sent their mobile command unit, which is usually deployed in situations like this, to Pampa.

PAMPA, TX (KFDA) - Police in Pampa right now are responding to a domestic assault call where a subject inside a home is not responding to police.

City of Pampa Public Information Officer Donny Hooper says police were called to the 900 block of E. Francis Monday morning on a report of domestic assault.

Hooper says no threats have been made from the subject, but officers are blocking off the area as a precaution until the situation is resolved.
