Clovis resident sentenced to prison for car burglaries

CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) - A Clovis man has been sentenced to three years in prison for numerous car burglaries in the area.

Bryson Campos, 23, pleaded guilty to Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Aggravated Fleeing an Officer, and burglary charges in December. He was sentenced in the Ninth Judicial District Court in Clovis Thursday.

Campos was also ordered to serve four years of probation following his prison sentence.

According to court records, Campos fled from police on multiple occasions, leading them on a foot pursuit while being armed with a gun and on high-speed chases with a stolen vehicle. The cases dated back to June 2015.
