AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Three suspects have been indicted on charges in connection to the murder of Zachary Cooper, who was found dead inside a parked car in a parking lot near I-40 & Grand in January.
Court dates for Erika Bautista Hudson, James Propsom, and Michael Moore have not been set. All three remain in the Potter County Jail. Their bonds are set at $1,000,000 apiece.
The Special Crimes Unit found Cooper slumped in a car on the night of Jan. 6, dead from a gunshot wound to his torso. Cooper's car was parked in a McDonald's parking lot, but police believe the victim and Moore drove to the nearby Wal-Mart a short time before. There, police say, Moore exited the car and went inside the store while another individual, Propsom, approached the car and talked to Cooper. Police believe Cooper was killed after the three drove to the McDonald's nearby.
Investigators obtained a copy of the restaurant's surveillance footage that later showed the two suspects leaving Cooper's car and entering a different one, allegedly driven by Hudson.
The three suspects were arrested within a week of Cooper being found.
