AMARILLO - The Amarillo Police Department says a suspect wanted for murder in Kentucky was located and arrested in Amarillo Wednesday.
Officials say 17-year-old Kyree Dujuan Yancey was found at an apartment in the 1300 block of Herman St. He was then arrested and booked into the Potter County jail without incident, according to police.
Yancey is charged with one count of murder and one count of robbery, as well as a single count of possession of a handgun by a minor.
Yancey has been wanted since July 2015, when Louisville Police say he murdered Garfield Webb.
Amarillo police say they received information about Yancey from Louisville Metro Police in Kentucky. Police there believed the suspect could have been staying in the area.
