COTTON COUNTY, OK (KFDA) - The death of an Amarillo woman found in the trunk of a car last September remains a mystery and the toxicology report obtained by NewsChannel10 sheds few clues on what happened.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers found 61-year-old Carol Trynosky on Sept. 30 in an abandoned car on I-44 near the Randlett Exit. This is about seven miles from the Oklahoma-Texas border, just north of Wichita Falls.
The autopsy and toxicology reports reveal the body was in advanced decomposition, but there were so signs of external or internal injuries.
The Oklahoma Medical Examiner described the death as "violent, unusual or unnatural" but ruled the cause of death unknown.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol continues to investigate this case.
