AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Texas state troopers last week found more than $91,000 in marijuana during a traffic stop on I-40.
At around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, troopers say they stopped a pick-up for a traffic violation on I-40 near Conway.
In the vehicle, the trooper conducting the search says they found several bundles of marijuana, all-together weighing more than 15 pounds.
The driver, 43 year-old Kelly Strawn of Oak Run, Calif., was booked into the Carson County jail, facing felony charges for possession of marijuana.
Troopers believe the drugs were being taken from California to Arkansas.
