AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Amarillo police say the search for one parole violator on Tuesday led to three arrests.
APD ProActive Criminal Enforcement Unit officers were searching for 38 year-old James Brandon Lewis at a home located at 1019 S. Austin St.
Lewis was wanted for parole violation for felon in possession of a firearm.
Officers say a female, 30 year-old Melissa Robin McVey, answered the door and allowed officers inside to search the home.
Inside, they say they found Lewis and arrested him without incident.
They also report finding 37 year-old Earl Wayne Kilgore, who was also wanted for parole violation related to dangerous drugs.
Officers say Kilgore was hiding in the shower, wearing clothes, and provided officers with a false name before they were able to determine his true identity.
McVey was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Hale County.
Five others were inside the home at the time, and although they were not arrested, officers say they believe more were on parole, as well.
Lewis and Kilgore were booked into the Randall County jail, and McVey was taken to the Potter County Detention Center.
