Comic book store employee robbed at gunpoint

Amarillo, TX - Police are seeking a suspect who they say robbed a comic book store Tuesday evening.

Just after 7:00 p.m., officers say an employee at Big Apple Comics near 45th and Western was closing up shop when a man approached, demanding him to unlock the doors.

When the employee refused, he tells police the suspect pointed a handgun at him and demanded cash.

The suspect is described as a black man, 6'2" tall and 190 pounds, with a blue hoodie and white bandana covering his face.

Anyone with information on this robbery is urged to contact Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.
