UPDATE: Amarillo business owners deaths ruled murder-suicide

UPDATE: Amarillo Special Crimes is now ruling Monday morning's shooting as a murder-suicide.

Lt. Erick Bohannon says preliminary autopsy results confirm that David Gisch shot and killed Kendal Gisch, and then himself.

Bohannon also said a weapon was recovered at the scene.

Amarillo, TX - An autopsy has been ordered for an Amarillo couple after they are found dead at their business Monday morning.

Police identify the victims as David and Kendal Gisch, both 22-years-old, who were found around 10:30 a.m. on Monday with gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The bodies were found inside their business GischMedia, a web design company.

Special Crimes taped off a business complex off of 45th Avenue and Ridgecrest in southwest Amarillo for more than five hours. Police are only classifying this as a shooting until the autopsy is performed.

Julia Greif, a close friend of the couple says she's in disbelief over the shooting.

"I still can't believe it. I don't know what would drive someone to do that and what could cause that, it's shocking," said Greif. "You look at them and you saw what you wanted to have as a relationship, I mean they were happy all the time, nothing was out of the ordinary at all."

Allstate Insurance agent, Clark Damon says he never suspected anything unusual while working next door to the couple.

The autopsy will be preformed Tuesday morning in Lubbock.
