LUBBOCK, TX - Three detectives who worked on the case testified on day 5 of the Dr. Thomas Michael Dixon murder-for-hire re-trial.
Pictures were shown of Dixon and David Shepard's houses from when they were searched.
Dixon is accused of hiring Shepard to kill Lubbock doctor Joseph Sonnier.
Photos of Dixon's home show a gun safe, with ammunition and other firearms inside.
Also shown were ammunition boxes containing coins, along with documents.
Paul Reynolds, Shepard's former roommate, finished his testimony.
He said to the defense, "You can try to make me a bad guy all day long. That's not going to make Dixon any less guilty."
The re-trial will continue Monday morning at 9 in Lubbock.
LUBBOCK, TX - Amarillo doctor Thomas Dixon is found guilty of two counts of capital murder. He is sentenced to life in prison without parole.
