    Amarillo, TX - 25-year-old Victor Apodaca of Clovis, accused of injuring 3 DPS Troopers in Conway, is now in custody after 5 hour stand off in Amarillo. 
    Amarillo, TX - 25-year-old Victor Apodaca of Clovis, accused of injuring 3 DPS Troopers in Conway, is now in custody after 5 hour stand off in Amarillo. 

Amarillo, TX - Following the 5 hour standoff with police in Amarillo on Monday, 25-year-old Victor Apodaca was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital for minor injuries and then booked into the Potter County jail.

During the standoff, Amarillo Police say Apodaca held a woman hostage inside the home where he barricaded himself. Officials are not releasing her name because she is a witness. 

Carson County is filing two charges of Assault on a Public Servant, Terroristic Threat, and Evading Arrest, Search or Detention in a Motor Vehicle. These charges come from the original incident that started the Claude manhunt on Sunday. Officials say he injured three DPS Troopers during a routine traffic stop on I-40 in Conway and the fled the scene.

DPS Trooper, Chris Ray says the three DPS Troopers are doing well.
