Amarillo Police continue to search for the suspects involved with Monday's robberies

Amarillo Police continue to search for the suspects involved with Monday's robberies.

For the second time this week Brighton Court Apartments was the location of a robbery. Last night a Thai food delivery man was robbed at gunpoint after being called to the same location as the pizza delivery man earlier Monday morning. The suspect demanded money from both victims and fled on foot through the apartment complex.

Police say they think that the robberies could be connected but are treating them as two separate cases.

Jerry Neufeld of the Amarillo Police Department said that "the way we work anything even though we know there is a very strong possibility that they are the same person. we will still investigate it as two separate incidents. Just because we don't want everyone to think there was one guy, well what happens if there were two?"

Both drivers are cooperating with police to help try to identify the suspects. The man described in Monday morning's robbery was a black male in his early twenties wearing a black t-shirt in possession of a semiautomatic handgun. The suspect in Monday nights robbery was also  described as a black male with a semiautomatic weapon.

Police are urging the public to stay alert and report any additional information.
