Many local Amarillo fugitives are still wanted and Crime Stoppers is asking for your help.
The criminals all have outstanding felony warrants and some are wanted for murder.
Omar Cruz is one of the most sought after criminals in the state.
Facebook has helped Crime Stoppers receive a lot of information, and according to Corporal Sean Slover, the information is more than welcome.
"More work for me is a good thing, you know. That means the more good information we get in typically that means that will lead to an arrest of a fugitive or identifying a suspect that we didn't know who it was before," he said. "Anytime we get information like that in the door that's great not only for us but for the community as a whole."
According to Slover tips are not only beneficial on a local level, but sometimes they carry globally.
"A lot of people don't realize that crime stoppers is not just a local program, there's Crime Stoppers programs internationally," he said. "So if we've got a tip and we've got a program to get it to they've got a law enforcement agency they're working with too, and if you're wanted we're coming after you."
Tips can remain anonymous and Crime Stoppers asks for any information that you think will be helpful.
