"Hot Blooded Run" benefits area children

Amarillo, TX - A run to benefit the Bridge Children's Advocacy Center took place today.

The local business, "Get Fit", hosted the "Hot Blooded" run, which is aimed to help the community get fit and live well.

Participants either ran a 5k or 10k and winners won a pair of new shoes from "Get Fit".

All proceeds help the Bridge cater to children who have fallen victim to abuse and sexual assault.

Since it's doors opened the Bridge has provided services to more than 25,000 young victims and their families in the area.
