7 men sentenced in online sex traffic ring

AMARILLO, TX -  Seven of the nine men arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety in February have been sentenced to prison or probation. One of the men, Aaron Davis, has been sentenced over 10 years in prison.

In February 2015, local, state and federal officials worked together to set up an investigation regarding online predators. The sting resulted in the arrest of 9 men charged with at least a Third Degree Felony of Solicitation of a Minor. 

The following suspects were identified as:

1. 38-year-old Aaron Joe Davis, of Amarillo.
Assault on a public servant, online solicitation of a minor, evading arrest with a motor vehicle and tamper with or fabricate evidence

2. 31-year-old Jeffery Robert Abraham, of Amarillo. 
Online solicitation of a minor

3. 21-year-old Kolby Shelb Kemp,of Amarillo.
Online solicitation of a minor

4. 28-year-old Mario Simental, of Amarillo.
Online solicitation of a minor

5. 44-year-old Brad Eugene Sharber, of Amarillo.
Online solicitation of a minor

6. 38-year-old Daniel Lee Garcia, of Amarillo.
Online solicitation of a minor

7. 21-year-old Robert James Tidwell, of Pampa.
Online solicitation of a minor

8. 20-year-old Charles Alexander Diaz, of Amarillo.
Online solicitation of a minor

9. 22-year-old Kyle Andrew Adair, of Amarillo.
Online solicitation of a minor

Two of the men arrested are still awaiting a sentence.
