AMARILLO, TX - 19 year old Deswan Newsome is facing 10 years to life in prison as well as $250,000 fine.
Newsome plead guilty in federal court today for attempting to solicit commercial sex with a 15 year old girl. A Task Force Officer created an undercover facebook account presenting himself as a 15 year old girl and began messaging Newsome.
Newsome scheduled a meeting with the fake minor and agreed to pay her for sexual favors. Newsome agreed to meet at a gas station in Amarillo and when he arrived he was identified and taken into custody.
