Amazon says 'Prime Day' will bury Black Friday

Amazon is bringing Christmas in July to its Prime members.

The retail giant says it will mark its 20th anniversary on July 15th by holding 'Prime Day.'

Amazon describes 'Prime Day' as a day filled with more deals than Black Friday. Deals for Prime members will begin at midnight that day, with new deals starting as often as every 10 minutes, according to the company's press release.

Amazon is offering 30-day free prime memberships for non-members who want to take advantage of 'Prime Day.

Amazon Prime is typically 99 dollars a year and includes free shipping.
