Woman arrested after police chase facing additional charges for stabbing

AMARILLO, TX - A woman who was arrested and booked into Potter County jail yesterday after fleeing police is facing even more charges after witnesses say they saw her stab a man outside of a home on the 5400 block of Saratoga.

39 year-old Viengthong Sikalasinh is accused of evading arrest in a vehicle, possessing identity that did not belong to her and an out-standing traffic warrant.

Viengthong fled from police yesterday with her children in the car after police responded to an aggravated assault call on the 5400 block of Saratoga. Police stopped the chase for the safety of the children and eventually located the address associated with Vienthong's license plate. She was then arrested outside of the house at the 4400 block of North Acres.

Police returned to the 5400 block of Saratoga looking for the victim of the stabbing but police could not locate the victim, the incident is still under investigation.
